This committee organizes
law enforcement, governmental agencies and loss prevention personnel
who are involved with the development and passage of federal and state
statutes and local ordinances on property crime issues. The committee
is proactive in identifying developing property crime trends and technique
and the need for related legislation. The committee acts as an advisory
group for passage of laws that are favorable for law enforcement and
related governmental agencies, and the corporate loss prevention community.
Committee members may also actively seek passage of such laws.
